Q: How do I purchase EZ-ROM software?
  A: You can purchase any of the EZ-ROM software packages directly from this web site by selecting the "Shop" or "Products" options from the top menu. Then select "Buy Now" for the product you wish to purchase. We accept payment from Visa and Master Card as well as by Check. All transactions are conducted from our secure commerce form. All software is available for immediate download.

Q: What Operating Systems are compatible with EZ-ROM software products?
  A: EZ-ROM Pro, Wedding, and Holiday editions are compatible on Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME and XP or Mac OS 8.6 or higher. EZ-ROM Standard Edition is not Mac OS compatible but is available for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME and XP. Please download the demo version of our software to ensure compatibility with your computer before purchasing.

Q: Is it legal to freely distribute my finished presentation on CD?
  A: Yes. The presentation you create with EZ-ROM / Pro are royalty free as long as all final images, photos or logos that you import belong to you and are not copyright protected by anybody else. You may not legally copy and distribute the EZ-ROM Standard Edition or Presentation Pro editing tools or software. Make sure you do not use somebody else's image with out their permission.

Q: Will my presentation operate on all computers?
  A: No. EZ-ROM Standard Edition and Pro Edition are designed for Windows 95, 98, ME and XP computers with 12 megabytes of available ram. If you would like to create presentations for the Mac OS, you will need to download the EZ-ROM Mac Launcher file from the EZ-ROM web site at: www.ez-rom.com/updates or purchase the Mac OS version.

Q: If I have questions about how to use EZ-ROM, how can I get additional information ?

Q: How can I get additional Backgrounds and Images?
  A: EZ-ROM has additional backgrounds and clip art that can be purchased in sets or you can create your own custom background images in an image-editing program and save them as 800 x 600, 72 ppi gif files. You an also check www.ez-rom.com/updates for free updates.

Q: I have used EZ-ROM / Presentation Pro several times but now it will not launch from my "Start" menu shortcut.
  A: Make sure you did not remove any EZ-ROM / Pro files out of the EZ-ROM directory. All files must remain in the EZ-ROM directory to insure proper operation of the program. If the problem persists, try de-installing and the re-installing from the original EZ-ROM installation.exe

Q: I am having trouble importing a specific image into EZ-ROM / Presentation Pro.
  A: The image may not be in the proper file format. Make sure that the image is a GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PCX or BMP and saved at 72 ppi.

Q: Can I import and playback MP3 music files in Presentation Pro?
  A: No. EZ-ROM Pro supports AIFF and WAV sound files, but not MP3 file format. Utilities are available for free that can convert MP3 files to the AIFF file format.

Q: Why doesn't Presentation Pro support more fonts or typefaces?
  A: EZ-ROM / Pro uses dynamic text that you enter into the presentation. If you chose to use a font in your presentation, and that font was not supported on all computers viewing the presentation, the presentation would not display properly. EZ-ROM minimizes this risk by supporting pre-installed fonts Arial and Times. Other fonts can be incorporated through the use of imported graphics.

Q: EZ-ROM / Presentation Pro is having trouble installing or running. How can I fix this?
  A: You may not have enough Hard Drive space or Ram. Make sure that you have at least 15 megabytes of hard drive space available and 12 megabytes of available ram memory. You must also be running Windows 95, 98, ME or XP. If you have installed and have enough memory and hard drive space but continue to have problems, try de-installing and then re-installing the EZ-ROM / Presentation Pro application and then restart your computer.

Q: What is the EZ-ROM return or refund policy?
  A: EZ-ROM provides free, fully functional demos of all our products. The Free Demo is your guarantee! The EZ-ROM Pro demo allows you to save up to 5 pages of a fully functional presentation. Due to the nature of downloaded software, we are unable to offer a refund because we can not reclaim our product. For your safety as a consumer, we provide free demos so that you may try our product before you buy. We strongly urge you to use the demo and make an educated purchase decision. It is not often you will find a software vendor that addresses this issue directly in their FAQs but we feel it is important to be very clear with our current and potential customers.
